Since 1993, the prestigious Manhunt International title had eluded the Philippines, a pageant loving country with many good-looking people. The closest they came to the title was in 1997, when Vincent Pinto clinched the second runner up placing. On 9th November 2012, all that waiting changed when June Macasaet was declared the winner at the Manhunt International 2012 finals at the Scala Theatre in Bangkok, Thailand. 

History was made and the Philippines finally have their very own Manhunt International winner. June was 28 years old and stand at 1.86m is a professional model in Manila, Philippines. Born on the 8th June is a Gemini. He holds a marketing management degree from Centro Escolar University and plays basket ball for his university team. June has been a professional model for 3 years. His father is a businessman and his mother a nurse. He is the eldest in the family and has 1 sister and 2 younger brothers. Prior to his modeling career, he was doing condominium sales in a real estate company for 6 months. His hobbies include Basket Ball, Gym, martial arts, tae kwon do and a swinging bachelor.

June has modelled for brands like Dockers, Speedo, Levis, ESAC, Penshoppe, Bench, Frederick Peralta. M. Baretto, Anthony Nocom, Popo go, Melchor Guinto and more. He also appeared in TVCs like NOVA, Century Tuna, Ph Care, Solane and more.

Winning the Manhunt International title is the most incredible day of my life, especially as the first Filipino to achieve this prestigious honor. My message to everyone is simple: learn to listen, observe keenly, and most importantly, enjoy every moment of the Manhunt journey.
