IMPORTANT WORLD FINAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Organization today made the following announcement regarding the
MANHUNT INTERNATIONAL 2026 WORLD FINAL:
As you probably are aware the Manhunt International 2026 World Final was scheduled to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka in May 2026.
Unfortunately, over the past few days there has been an outbreak of war in the Middle East, which has caused chaos in the airline industry with thousands of flights being cancelled and hundreds of thousands of travellers being stranded in the Middle East.
The rising tensions in the area have already begun to affect the global economy, and if the situation continues for several more weeks, it may lead to further economic instability. Also,
with no end in sight to the war there is a certain level of uncertainty, and near Sri Lanka there was a recent US attacks on an Iranian warship very near their shores, which has created a huge situation in the country. More importantly, we have just received a request from our organising partners in Sri Lanka seeking to postpone the World Final scheduled for May 2026 until the situation becomes safer and international travel returns to normal.
With this in mind, and to make sure our World Finalists, Staff, National Directors and supporters are not put in any danger I have made the hard decision to postpone the 24th Edition World Final. I am already in negotiations with our partners in Sri Lanka with regarding rescheduling the venues and securing suitable dates and we expect to be in a position to announce these new dates very soon.
We believe that this approach will allow us to organize the event in a much more stable environment and ensure that the 24th Edition Manhunt International World Finals is conducted
at the highest possible standard, rather than proceeding under considerable uncertainty.
I am very confident that Sri Lanka will provide a memorable World Final that will leave us with memories that we will talk about for many years to come.
