Kenta Muramatsu, a 24-year-old Breaking Down fighter and popular TV personality, claimed the prestigious title of Manhunt Japan 2024 during a dazzling final night held at the iconic Yamano Hall in Tokyo. Organized by Everything OK Inc. under the leadership of National Director Maki Nishida, the event brought together Japan’s finest, featuring 17 contestants (16 competing due to one absence) with a rich variety of backgrounds and talents.
The competition showcased the contestants' diverse journeys and aspirations, including a high school student, a top model regularly seen on magazine covers, and a new member of a major band. Each contestant left a memorable mark, embodying the modern Japanese man’s spirit and charisma.
The two-hour program opened with an energetic group performance by the finalists, setting the tone for the evening. The competition then unfolded across four key segments:
Final Judgment – determining who would represent Japan on the global stage.
Casual Wear/Self-Introduction Round – where personalities shone through in relaxed attire.
Swimwear Round – highlighting physique and confidence.
Formal Wear Round – elevating elegance and poise.
Kenta Muramatsu’s charm, stage presence, and undeniable charisma won over both the judges and the enthusiastic audience, making him the clear choice for the prestigious title.
The evening was a resounding success, with cheers filling the hall as the finalists demonstrated their talents, fashion sense, and dedication to excellence. Manhunt Japan 2024 served as a celebration of individuality, ambition, and the pursuit of dreams.
As the newly announced Manhunt Japan, Kenta Muramatsu will now prepare to represent Japan at the 23rd Manhunt International World Final, set to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, in June 2025.
