Manhunt International 2026 Peace Parade Unites Nations in Colombo

One World. One Humanity. World Peace.

An international celebration of unity and cultural diversity, driven by a vision of global peace and supported by Sri Lanka’s hospitality, aviation, lifestyle and tourism sectors.

COLOMBO, SRI LANKA — 6 SEPTEMBER 2026

In a world increasingly challenged by conflict, division and uncertainty, Colombo became a platform for a message that transcends borders, cultures and national identities: One World. One Humanity. World Peace.

The Manhunt International World Finals 2026 Peace Parade brought international delegates together in the historic Dutch Hospital precinct of Colombo on 6 September, creating a vibrant celebration of global unity, cultural diversity and the shared aspirations of humanity.

Held as a key highlight of the 24th edition of Manhunt International, the Peace Parade was more than a public event. It was a statement of purpose — demonstrating how international platforms can reach beyond entertainment and competition to encourage friendship, understanding and peaceful coexistence among nations.

At the heart of the initiative was Jagath De Almeida, Executive Director and Host Coordinator of Manhunt International World Finals 2026, whose vision, leadership and commitment helped bring the Peace Parade to life in Sri Lanka.

Under the theme One World – One Humanity – World Peace, the initiative sought to take a universal message beyond the pageant stage and into the community, reminding people that our differences in nationality, language, culture and tradition should unite and enrich us rather than divide us.

A GLOBAL MESSAGE ON A SRI LANKAN STAGE

With delegates representing countries from across the world, the parade offered a powerful expression of unity through diversity. Against the historic surroundings of Colombo, the participants came together not merely as representatives of their respective nations, but as ambassadors of a shared hope for a more peaceful and compassionate future.

The event also offered Sri Lanka an opportunity to showcase its cultural heritage, hospitality and capacity to host international events that bring people together. By connecting international delegates with Colombo’s historic setting and vibrant urban environment, the parade contributed to a wider story of Sri Lanka as a destination for cultural exchange, international engagement and meaningful experiences.

At its core, the message was simple: peace is a shared responsibility. It begins with individuals and communities choosing mutual respect over prejudice, dialogue over hostility, and cooperation over division.

FAIRWAY COLOMBO: THE ACCOMMODATION PARTNER SUPPORTING THE VISION

Bringing an international event to life requires a shared commitment from organisations that recognise the value of connecting people and promoting Sri Lanka to the world.

Fairway Colombo, the official Accommodation Partner, played an important role in supporting the wider Manhunt International World Finals 2026 experience. Its partnership reflects the essential contribution of Sri Lanka’s hospitality sector in welcoming international delegates and supporting events that bring the world to Colombo.

The wider event was strengthened by a distinguished group of partners, each contributing through its own area of expertise. Together, these organisations helped create an international experience that extended beyond the competition itself, encompassing travel, hospitality, personal presentation, wellbeing and the overall delegate experience.

A PARTNERSHIP ECOSYSTEM BRINGING THE EVENT TO LIFE

The Manhunt International World Finals 2026 was supported by partners whose contributions represented a broad cross-section of Sri Lanka’s corporate, lifestyle and hospitality sectors.

  • SriLankan Airlines — Official Airline Partner: Connecting Sri Lanka with the world and supporting the international dimension of the event.
  • City of Dreams Sri Lanka — Official Hospitality Partner: Contributing to the wider hospitality experience and providing a landmark setting associated with the international finals.
  • Fairway Colombo — Official Accommodation Partner: Supporting the accommodation needs and hospitality experience of the international event.
  • The Cutting Station — Official Hair and Makeup Partner: Supporting the grooming, presentation and professional appearance of the delegates.
  • KFC — Official Food Partner: Supporting the event through its food partnership.

  • Knuckles — Official Hydration Partner: Supporting hydration throughout the event experience.
  • Heavenly — Official Indulgence Partner: Adding a distinctive element of indulgence to the wider experience.
  • UGO Bespoke — Official Wardrobe and Styling Partner: Contributing to the delegates’ wardrobe, styling and presentation.
  • Cristal Luxury Wellness — Official Wellness and Longevity Partner: Representing the importance of wellbeing, wellness and longevity within the wider event experience.

These partnerships demonstrate how businesses from different industries can contribute to a common vision. Each partner brought a distinct identity and area of expertise to the event, helping create an experience that welcomed international delegates while providing a platform for Sri Lankan brands to engage with an international audience.

The event also acknowledged the support of the Western Province Tourism Board, the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau and the Colombo Municipal Council as institutional and tourism-sector partners associated with the wider initiative.

Such collaboration between organisers, businesses and public-sector stakeholders is important in developing Sri Lanka’s international event profile and strengthening Colombo’s position as a destination for major gatherings.

BEYOND A PAGEANT: A PLATFORM FOR HUMANITY

The Manhunt International World Finals 2026 took place in Sri Lanka from 3 to 10 September, culminating in the grand finale on 9 September at City of Dreams Sri Lanka.

While the competition celebrated confidence, personality, talent and international representation, the Peace Parade gave the wider event a deeper social dimension. It brought participants together around a message that transcends the boundaries of competition and nationality.

For Jagath De Almeida, Manhunt International and the organising team, the parade represented an opportunity to use an international platform for a purpose greater than the event itself: to encourage people to recognise their shared humanity and the importance of building a world founded on peace, dignity and mutual respect.

The event also highlighted the potential of international gatherings to contribute to destination promotion. By bringing international participants to Colombo and connecting them with local businesses, hospitality providers and tourism stakeholders, Manhunt International created opportunities to present Sri Lanka to the world through its people, places and experiences.

FROM COLOMBO TO THE WORLD

The true significance of the Peace Parade lies not only in the gathering itself, but in the message it carries beyond Sri Lanka.

In a world where differences can become sources of division, the parade celebrated the possibility of unity. It recognised that every nation has a unique identity, every culture has something valuable to offer, and every individual has a role to play in creating a more peaceful future.

Sri Lanka provided the stage. The organisers brought the vision to life. The partners contributed their expertise and support. The international delegates gave the message a human face.

And the message belongs to everyone.

ONE WORLD. ONE HUMANITY. WORLD PEACE.

A message from Colombo to the world — that beyond borders, cultures and national identities, we are all part of one human family.
